We set no cookies of our own, and we use no advertising, retargeting, or cross-site tracking cookies. No third party is allowed to place cookies through Beachread.

We use PostHog to understand how the product performs and where it gets confusing. It is configured in cookieless mode with memory-only persistence, so it does not store an identifier on your device; analytics data is processed on EU infrastructure.

Because no cookies or similar identifiers are stored on your device, no consent banner is required under the ePrivacy rules. How we handle the resulting analytics data is described in our privacy policy.

Once memberships open, we may need to keep a small amount of local storage to hold your signed-in session. That is strictly necessary to provide the service you asked for, and it is never used for tracking or profiling.
